Renzaglia Shiraz – 750ML
The Bathurst region is ‘on the edge’ when it comes to suitability for growing grapes. This is mainly due to its water limitations and frost risk in late spring. However, with good site selection and proper selection of grape variety, the fact that it’s ‘on the edge’ is what helps the winery to produce wines with good balance between acidity and ripeness. Bathurst is a cool climate region but warm enough to be able to ripen many reds successfully.
Deep red in colour, the nose reveals ripe cherries and spice complemented by nutty oak. Medium bodied, plums, cinnamon and cherries are rounded out by fresh, lingering tannins.
